We were driving toward Nuwara Eliya when we decided to spend the night in Kandy. It was such a wonderful time there with Indi and Anjara. They are incredibly lovely hosts and so helpful. We wished we could have stayed longer at their place. Their home is clean and tidy. Just be aware that if you’re arriving by car, it’s not directly in the city center but still close by. It has an amazing view from the terrace, and we truly felt at home.

We felt an overwhelming sense of peace from the moment we arrived. The Ayurvedic treatments and wellness programs were life-changing, and the team are so positive and treated us with so much kindness and thoughtfulness. The food was beyond amazing—every meal was filled with such flavour. Santani gave us everything we needed to truly sought to reconnect and release going into the new year. It’s a place that feels magical, and we can’t wait to come back.

A beautiful apartment with all the modern conveniences - even a washing machine, which was most welcome after a week of travelling! The highlight was the breathtaking view from the balcony. Sami was a kind and generous host - he collected us from the bus station on arrival which was much appreciated. Hope to return!

The villa and the room we stayed in were really nice, the room had a nice balcony and was equipped with a ceiling fan. The hosts were very kind and hospitable. They offered us English breakfast but they were also able to make us the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. We decided to find accommodation out of the city center of Kandy because the city was very busy and loud. In comparison, the villa location was nice and quiet, we enjoyed that.

Big safe in the room, electric kettle for hot tea or coffee, cups & saucers, enough space to unpack your bags. A/C, fan, balcony with a view on the gardens. Comfortable chairs and a table. Enough sockets near the bed. Big property, located about 3 kilometers from the town and the beautiful Victoria golf course and restaurant, with hiking opportunities nearby. Management and owner are fantastic, always ready to help. They took us to town in their tuk tuk or to the neighborhood restaurant. There is a Sri Lankan restaurant around 1.5 kilometers from the hotel, but it's pretty basic. The best spot for a good meal is at the golf course restaurant that offers great views and walks down to the lake. It's open to everyone. The town offers local fares, nothing fancy.

The hotel has a nice and interesting interior design — there are lots of pictures and statues showing the old life of Sri Lanka. Our room was big and bright, with two rooms, a large bathroom, and two balconies. The pool was always clean. The manager, Jeewa, was very friendly and helpful. It was also easy to order dinner through WhatsApp, even when we went to Kandy. Everything was comfortable and well organized.

We loved the overall stay! There was a warm welcome. The view was amazing. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We appreciated the comfortable bed and the amenities. The breakfast was also appropriate for a yoga retreat. The kayaking added to the relaxing experience. We spent our honeymoon night there and it was beautifully set up. The bunch of flowers at the welcoming was definitely a sweet gesture which we appreciated a lot. Just what we needed that night :)
