Our stay at the Bombua Beach House was incredible—so much so that we extended it! Our bungalow was designed to give maximum privacy, with a kitchen and a private pool outside. They also have a great restaurant with delicious meals and cocktails. We really enjoyed talking to Ash and Stacey, who can arrange any trip for you or give you the right contacts. The hotel’s location is great—it’s close to town and not too far from the attractions in the north. We also went snorkeling right in front of the restaurant, and the reef was really nice.

We stayed here for ten days over the xmas break. Barrier Beach Resort is set on a sheltered bay, in a beautiful location. We had the most relaxing stay, everything about this resort is perfect. The owners are friendly and accomodating, the staff really are exceptional and go the extra mile. After trying a few lunches elsewhere we thought the food at Barrier was the best on the island. There’s a wide selection of choices from the menu and the wine list is great too. There’s kayaks and snorkel gear to use free of charge. Santo itself is well worth the extra effort to visit, it’s a stunning island and the locals and their culture are amazing. You’ll be rewarded with something special as a holiday destination.

Continental breakfast was included. Lovely pool and bar, outdoor dining, gardens. Location was convenient, bakery across the street. Staff made sure we were safe and secure during Cyclone Lola arrival by supplying towels, flashlights, water. Meals delivered to our room during that unsafe time. Hotel has a generator in case of power outage.
