One of the best guesthouses we have stayed in in our many travels! The hosts were super nice and the food they cooked for us was amazing. The room was super clean and cute. And a cute cat :-) It may seem lost in the middle of nowhere, but it is worth the detour!

We had a great time staying for one night at Debatoun, where we met the owners (Svetlana and her husband) who have created an incredibly lovely space! The room is spacious, bed is super comfortable, and everything was super clean. We arrived when it was snow outside, still inside the room it was very warm and cozy, and the aunties were very cute and prepared very tasty food. I cannot say enough, just don’t hesitate to stay here!

The interior was beautifully designed and exceptionally comfortable, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Everything was spotless, reflecting great attention to cleanliness. We were delighted by a Women's Day surprise—fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, and delicious Armenian pakhlava, which made our stay even more special. A truly wonderful experience!

This is a very comfortable place to stay for overnight with kitchen,hot shower,refrigerator and everything you need when traveling. The owner couple are so kind ,they also upgrade our room as it’s not a busy day.Their daughter speaks English,so there’s no problem for communication. The included breakfast is delicious,we also add the dinner which is also excellent Armenian style homemade food,a good experience for tourists. Parking is convenient right by the house.We feel very lucky and safe to choose this guesthouse.

Super-welcoming hosts and great location on the clifftop of Debed Canyon. Great treks from the village all well.signposyed and trails marked. There is no shop or cafe in the village but the family serves the most terrific meals with local produce. The owner has created a small museum which is really interesting - household items from ancient to modern. The family also arranged a spot in a shared taxi from Yerevan, which was cheap and easy. The cottage has all facilities you might need, fridge, washing machine, hairdryer, cooker, kettle.
