Come to the Sun house! First of all it’s very new which means it’s clean, well designed, spacious and the mattress/bedding is really comfortable. The kitchen and garden are beautiful. You will enjoy fruits, vegetables and herbs for dinner straight from garden and her cooking is amazing. The host family is so warm and welcoming, coffee and homemade cake upon arrival. The entire family helped to make sure I was happy and had a good experience. The Father drove me to Noravank and the Yeghegis valley. Brother showed me around, and also arranged a taxi for my hike to Spitakavor in the morning. The mother cooked amazing food, showed me the lavash making process, and even taught me a little Armenian. The sisters spoke perfect English and I shared a taxi back to Yerevan with her. From start to finish this stay was the best yet in Armenia. It’s an experience not just a place to sleep.

The rooms are nice, decently renovated and it was very clean. Anna, the host, is super lovely and kind. We stayed 2 nights and both nights we had dinner at the guest house made by Anna directly: delicious homemade Armenian food and they also make their own wine and fresh juices! We definitely recommend to stay here to explore this part of the country: you are 5 mins away from Areni Cave and Magellan Cave, the Novarank monastery is 10 minutes away.
