Very quiet place to stay close to good skiing at Dachstein and not far from larger skiing venues as well. The sauna area is nice. The food for dinner was delicious. I ate there four nights in a row and had something different every night and it was terrific.

Offering panoramic views of the Dachstein Glacier, Gasthof Gosausee is directly located on the shore of Lake Gosau. The on-site restaurant serves Austrian cuisine and fish specialties.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Because my husband wanted to do the via ferrata, the location of the hotel was very convenient to take the cable car up. The view from our balcony was outstanding and overlooking the lake! We didn't want to leave!
