Very nice breakfast, beautiful mountain view from the balcony of the room. I would highly recommend anyone to stay in Rieder, both for the beautiful scenery, the excellent restaurant and the lack of the hustle and bustle of the nearby resorts.

Super Gasthof, well located for the Ziller valley, overlooks the Zillertalbahn station which is 5 minutes by ZB train (every 30 minutes from 8am to 8pm) from the OBB station at Jenbach. Good views of the mountains from the windows. Room was super, I had a four person family room to myself, food in the restaurant good and portions err... generous, would recommend the deer stew which on the specials menu. Breakfast buffet with lots of choice. Staff have little English so some German is useful, I managed with my 50 year old o-level German, and are very friendly & welcoming.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Great location, a bit outside of the city, in great green nature. The hotel has a restaurant where you can spend a great, cozy evening. Next to the hotel is the main road with the bus station and a 15-minute walk to the old train station, from this station you could take the old train to Lake Aachen. The room was comfortable, clean and quite big.
