Communication with the property owners was good and they were accommodating to any changes we requested leading up to the stay. They even went the extra mile to allow us early-check in at the property so we could set our bags down in our room. Very good experience and made our stay so easy!

Of all the places I stayed during my two weeks in Europe, this was my favorite. The proprietor was exceptional. The rooms were clean and cozy, the bathrooms spotless, a most outstanding breakfast (everything was plentiful and delicious), a secure location, the beds were so comfortable, a lovely view, a convenient location to shopping and transportation, and very clear and quick communication when messaging through booking.com. It is a wonderful place and I would love to stay here again.

A good location for a stress-free getaway in Mitterbach, Volenter Gästehaus is a guest house surrounded by views of the mountain.

The hosts were lovely and made us feel very welcomed. Gave recommendations for things to visit and were overall very lovely. Cannot recommend them more!

    Everything is perfect. The hostess deae Elisabeth is very welcome and helpful. The terrace is much more bigger than photo. I will definetly come back and I strongly recommend to stay there. You can make a trekking from there to erlaufsee ıt is very easy and enjoyable

    Clean and renovated room, very good value for the money. Right next to the ski lift and outside of the main road to Mariazell, thus quiet. Good breakfast with a reasonable choice of food, great bread and friendly staff! Right in between the Erlausee, Ötschergräben Canyon and Gemeidealpe which makes it excellent location.

    Very warm welcome from the hosts, good location of the guest house, a few minutes walk from the ski lift and a place with a few restaurants. Very cozy, clean and well-equipped rooms, nice bathroom, good breakfast, extremely friendly and warm hosts. Parking spaces directly in front of the house.

    Quiet location, except for the 7am and 7pm church bells, the church is directly across the road. Breakfast was plentiful, with variety. Room was as advertised. Staff friendly, spoke English and gave great recommendations for local dinning. Lots of easy parking.

    The rooms were very clean, the furnitures, bathroom, windows, everything was high quality material. The rooms were very quiet, the beds are comfortable. The staff was very kind and flexible when we wanted to change the room, so that our rooms with the kids will be close to each other. The dinner was also delicious.

    Lovely guesthouse with very kind and helpful hosts. We got lots of hints for good hiking routes. The guesthouse also contains a little sauna cabin for up to 4 people. Absolutely perfect for relaxing your muscles after an exhaustive hike.

    The appartment was perfectly clean, modern, well equipped and with a beautiful view. Smooth communication with the host. We booked the appartment thinking it was downstairs, but it was not located directly on the ground floor, but it had a beautiful and big terrace. We enjoyed it also with our children, thank you!
