Breakfast was served in a charming room overlooking the historic town centre, and the choice on offer for food was a well-presented buffet. I had a large bedroom overlooking the cobbled historic Steyr streets to the front of the hotel, this was quiet at night but during the day it was a hive of activity. Our hostess told us of a pleasant and easy way to walk to the old town. Thunderstorms and a torrential downpour led us to stay in the guesthouse for an evening meal. We were glad we did.
