Clean, quiet place with a lot of charm. Staff was pleasant, accommodating and it had a down-home feel, which was lovely. It was a traditional place neatly decorated with beautifully upgraded facilities. Clean room, screens on the windows to keep out the bugs, air conditioning and comfy beds. Breakfast in the morning had a lot of options and it was really nice to sit outside by the small pond and enjoy our morning coffee. Really a wonderful spot overall and perfect for a few nights stay.

A very good hotel in a small town atmosphere. Room was very large and was quite comfortable. Also had a nice bathroom. Breakfast was buffet with many homemade jams, breads, etc. Hotel was very quiet both from outside and couldn't hear guests on the inside.

    Ideal area for bikers, nice tracks close to rivers (Ybbs, Donau, Enns); Surrounding mountains better for e bikers ..:)) Location calm, although it is almost in central part of Waidhofen, parking in garage, everything worked ... smart intro information from host , keys via coded box, outside apartment ... well equipped kitchen and apartment as such .. thanks

    The information sheets we got in email were really detailed and useful. The apartment is clean and well equipped. The city has a really nice, quiet vibe, not crowded and clean. The parking was easy, the bike storage at the parking is really convenient. The Ybbstal bike route is awesome, in 15 minutes pedaling from the apartment towards the Lunz am See direction one will find a very pretty scenery and a well maintained route.

    Breakfast very good, great hospitality, great communication. Behind the gasthof there is a nice small camping place. Wish I would have a tent. It is about 5 km away from the nearest smalll city and the place is quiet. Near is Pizzeria where you get different meals. Fridge with beverages , mineral water, beer and bottles of wine for a payment is a good idea.

    We liked everything there. The surroundings are beautiful, the landscape is superb. There is a lot of quiet and calmness for one's relaxation. We loved that. You can go on hikes, cliff climbing or mountain biking right there from the house. The appartment is clean, very spacious and equipped with everything you need. The hosts were very nice, friendly and helpful. The two nearby towns Steyr and Waidhofen an der Ybbs are charming and a "must see". We' ll visit Falkennest again in a few weeks.

    Excellent location, great property layout, with a wonderful roof top views, very cosy accommodation with every detail carefully thought through, nothing was missing in the kitchen at all. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon. Separate compliments to a great host
