Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The location was so quiet and peaceful whilst still being only ten mins drive from town. Lots of space within the house, great entertaining areas - especially the deck. Full size kitchen with heaps of cooking utensils. Beds were very comfortable! The hosts thought of everything and were a pleasure to deal with :)
Our stay at Seahorse was perfect. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood and is a beautiful home inside. The hostess and her dog Teena welcomed us kindly and made us feel very comfortable at all times. Breakfast included fruit, cereal, coffee, tea, milk, bread, and spreads. It was a pleasure to stay at seahorse and we highly recommend it. Thank you for everything.
We had the cottage which was rustic and basic but comfortable and clean. The area was very quiet and it's nice to get up in the morning and have kangaroos with joeys grazing 10 metres from you. Sonny is an excellent host. Easy communication and very helpful with local knowledge. Would stay again for sure.
A great place to stay for your trip to Agnes Water. Great location - a short walk from the beach and very nearby to the local shops and restaurants. Our private room was comfortable and had air con. The hostel chef cooks cheap dinners each night - we never took part but I thought it was a nice touch. Good social events each night.
The staff are great and the guests are friendly. Lovely relaxed vibe. We felt right at home.
The location was great, absolutely beautiful property and Sonny was a great host; he was very helpful, had good advice and local recommendations which was appreciated. The house was spacious, lots of native wildlife to spot, play equipment for the kids and having a garden to show them was great. Loved the fresh fruit and veg too thankyou!
The place was quite spacious, with a good well equipped kitchenette and table and 4 chairs. It was quiet and away from the tourist crowd. It lived up to the name Birdsong Ridge with wonderful variety of birdcalls in the early morning. Some friendly kangaroos came by to nibble the grass. The flouro light was good and bright and suitable for artwork in the evening. The wi fi was good and the TV had good subscription services. The host was friendly and provided fresh fruit and milk as well as cereal for breakfast.
Great location to relax and unwind. Great views everything was supplied and a great host Carl.
