This stay felt very personal and welcoming. It was nice to stay with a local rather than at a big hotel. The breakfast was delicious. David was very accommodating.

This 1930’s style guest house offers comfortable rooms in central Katoomba, across from the Kingsford Smith Park.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. There is a small elevator in the rear which was helpful since I was on the third floor (what Australians call the second). Parking in the rear included which was nice. Easy walk into town.

Housed in a building from 1902, Kurrara Historic Guest House features free WiFi. It is 15-minutes’ walk from the famous Three Sisters and 10 minutes from many restaurants in the Katoomba Town Center.

What a beautiful property. On the first floor there is a comfortable sitting area and a breakfast room where you could get treats throughout the day. Room was spacious and comfortable. Sits 5 minutes from Scenic World in Blue Mountains Unfortunately our stay was cut short as I broke my leg after a fall in the mountains. My husband inadvertently left my kindle behind. The owner, Iian was so kind to bring it to me in the hospital.

Everything. Beautifully restored old building furnished appropriately and in perfect taste. Everything provided, beds, linen, even toilet paper, was of the highest quality. Breakfast supplies with tea and good coffee were plentiful and available to guests at all hours. Our host was charming and available and helpful at all times. Also great location, lovely garden and quiet.

The Boutique Hotel is exactly what we were after. Cosy, historic and close to town. Virginia was an excellent host and made sure all our needs were catered for. The property has been well restored and maintained, and I would recommend it to others for short stays with their partners or families.

A charming old listed guest house. Warm and cosy in the evenings with a fire on in the guest lounge area to relax after a day of hiking. Very tastefully decorated in line with its age. Chris was a lovely host and would check in on guests regularly

Secret Hideaways is quaint, quiet and in a lovely location. It affords you privacy and is an excellent ‘anchor’ point from which to explore the Blue Mountains area. Your hosts, See and George are very welcoming and supply you with all you need and more (eg. top ups for breakfast, ensuring your wood supply [for your cosy wood heater] is sufficient, information about the area and suggestions for places to eat) without impinging on your privacy.
