Susie was extremely helpful!! She went above and beyond to help me with my stained top (which came clean). She helped us pack our picnic as we checked out and highlighted the map for the perfect picnic spot. The environment was clean, comfy, friendly and welcoming. It was walking distance to parkrun. They found an earring I left on the floor and got to me before we left (I found the other one 🎉👏🤩).

It was a magical unique experience a truly authentic Kangaroo Island experience. Hammocks, Sauna, ice bath, outdoor shower, great facilities for making a special dinner under the stars sprinkled with fairy lights in a forest out of a fairy tail. A yoga studio and massage studio for those seeking ultimate relaxation. The natural setting lent itself to a welcoming party of wildlife up close and personal from Kangaroos, wallabies, even owls. Amy could not have been more accommodating. Surrounded by nature walks in the Pelican lagoon conservation park. Bring red lights and torches for a walk at night under the curtain of stars. From glamping to the queen room with an ensuite and comfy bean bag chairs nestled in the forest...what an amazing place!
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Scenic views, quiet and great location. We loved our staycation in Kingscote. Brett was a great host who provided a warm cozy retreat with a fire lit each night. The projector TV and surround sound was an awesome addition! Thanks Brett
The property was private and in quiet location and within a short drive from the main town. It was comfortable for spending many hours relaxing in and lovely to come back to after a full day exploring. We were there during winter and some pretty hectic weather yet we were warm and comfortable. Our host, Brett checked in with us once or twice, and let us know he was not too far away if we needed anything. Brett was very accommodating and it is lovely to be greeted by his dog Chase.
Quiet-as it’s winter I guess. Lovely suite, great hot water! Everything we needed. Great location to all shops and supermarket. Close to the gym for our daughter.
Great hosts, wonderful big, lovely made accommodation, well equipped. We really enjoyed staying there and getting a special tour around the Isle from our hosts.
In the garden are a lot of wild animals, so we could make the best Koala pics "home"; only from 2 meter distance.
It's a very quiet place; we've heard only animal sounds and slept wonderfully.
We loved that our dog was so welcome! Chase was a lovely friend for him and he loved running around.
Brett’s place is well set up for a quiet time away on Kangaroo Island and Brett is a great host. Hopefully we’ll be back!
Exceptional place to stay if you're visiting Kangaroo Island. Lovely quiet location, the hosts are lovely. We were also provided with fresh free range eggs, bread, milk, a bottle of red, tea, coffee and condiments. Great location to base yourself to explore then come back and relax. Highly recommend.
I like the guesthouse! There are excellent environment and awesome hosts! Bruno and Susi are very kind and hospitable. Kimchi and Lucy are quiet and lovely puppies :)
Great hosts - friendly and always up for a chat, very knowledgable about KI and happy to share tips/recommendations/stories. The place itself is a nice guesthouse, comfortable room in a fantastic location.
