Clare & Justin were so accommodating. This is one of the best-kept gems of the Kettering/Nichols Rivulet area. Tucked away and isolated from neighbouring properties. It has tranquil peace and quiet and is super warm & snug. You could live here for extended periods, in a heartbeat! Could not recommendation highly enough.
The access to Bruny Ferry is easy (with a vehicle) and has some of Tasmania's best rural landscapes just moments away. Check out Ye Olde Oyster Cove (fresh produce store) on the drive-in to get your fresh food supplies.

We loved The Chapel. It sits on a hill overlooking the Huon River with great views all round and only a few minutes from Cygnet. It is a very private place surrounded by paddocks which were great for wandering in. The fire place was fantastic for the couple of cooler nights we had and the views from the cauldron bath tub were amazing. The hosts communicated everything we needed to know and we were very lucky to receive a few goodies, most of which we used on the stay. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect location only 10min drive from Bruny Island ferry. Richard and Patricia were perfect hosts, making us feel very welcome, providing a great breakfast spread in the mornings and just right conversation (with drinks) in the evening.
The view over the water to Bruny Island was great as was the walk around the gardens

I loved that we had a microwave recipe to make scrambled eggs from the freshly laid eggs supplied.
Henrrietta invited us to her studio and explained her various painting techniques to us.
Paul was very friendly each time we chatted.
We loved the view of the Huon River; day and night.
The possums and pademelons visited the garden at night searching for food. Tasmania had a very dry summer.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
