What wonderful place to stay, wish we had more than one night there. The room was extremely well presented and the bed was exceptionally comfortable.
Whilst we had no in person contact with the staff, the process of getting the key was easy and very well outlined.
The position of the room is nearr the fairy penguin colony and the stanley nut so both in walking distance.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Liked everything. Very quaint little apartment, with absolutely everything you need and quite a bit more you didn’t realise you needed/wanted until you saw it! 😂 Very quaint decor and vibe to the place, cosy and comfortable. I’d wear are ever that way again, we know exactly where to book! 😊 Host’s attention to detail and communication were first class, thank you 🙏🏻
Quaint bedroom, comfortable bed, fabulous spa bath. Charming separate outside room for breakfast in the morning which is ideal as a space to mingle with other travellers. Ingrid is a very friendly and hospitable host, as was Shooter the dog.
Ingrid and her partner Jo prepare gourmet meals at reasonable prices for guests. We did not arrive early enough to eat dinner there but other guests we spoke to did so and highly recommended the seafood they chose..
It was so homely and comfortable. Very clean, everything you needed when tripping around such as self-catering and free laundry facilities. Host provided cereal, beautiful bread, butter, jams, and plenty of milk, tea and coffee. Close to Smithton but enough out to be so quiet in a tranquil setting. I would not hesitate to stay again and highly recommend you do.
Facilities were excellent, hosts were very hospitable and friendly and made us feel welcome. We also received some excellent local recommendations of things to see and do in nearby towns. We especially enjoyed breakfast in the charming cottage outside.
