Yes, the paint was peeling, and there was a hole in the ceiling, but it added to the character. The shared bathroom was modern and clean, and the room also clean. It was great having wifi there also. It was beautiful reading to our daughter in the alfresco area by the river. The kitchen was stocked with everything that we needed which was great. The rooms were spotlessly clean with a great outlook towards the river. The trees have grown up to cover some of the river view but you can see it through the trees and the hills in the valley.
