Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Reception staff were very warm and welcoming. Location was beautiful, nice, and quiet. Internet/motel wifi and phone reception for optus and telstra work terrific.
Value for money. Would stay again.
I liked the old style room in the main building. It was very bug with lots of character. Yes, the paint was peeling, and there was a hole in the ceiling, but it added to the character. The shared bathroom was modern and clean, and the room also clean. No ghost activity to note.
We had a wonderful time at River Run. The property is beautiful in a gorgeous location. The hosts are lovely and there on call if you need. It was great having wifi there also. It was beautiful reading to our daughter in the alfresco area by the river. The kitchen was stocked with everything that we needed which was great. Highly recommend!
A great location at Wisemans Ferry - quieter and nicer than the pub by a good margin. The rooms were spotlessly clean with a great outlook towards the river. The trees have grown up to cover some of the river view but you can see it through the trees and the hills in the valley. Lovely! The rainbow lorikeets were going mad in the flowering redgums just below us. The
Great location, very quiet and tranquil.
Office reception was very helpful and accommodating, nothing too much trouble.
Room was large, comfortable bed, great grounds.
My stay was too short.
Great location within easy walking distance of the Bowling Club, Pub, Cafe, Gallery and little supermarket. Quiet room overlooking the tennis court and the closed swimming pool for winter. Small northern facing balcony, Reception staff very helpful.
