Everything was perfect. From the moment we parked the car in the carport, we already felt like home. Arriving at a peaceful, quiet country side place is always wonderful. Our stay was short but memorabele. We enjoyed it very much and we will come back again.

The interior design of The Oak is spectacular and spending the morning sipping tea with the kiss of sun whilst looking at the garden-forest is magical :)

I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS but felt compelled to write this one. I think I last wrote a review around 2011, so you all keep this in mind. Further I have used booking since around 2010. This place does indeed have all the nice scenery and it is in a quiet location not far from Brussels center. So the positive comments are well founded. Having worked in customer service and being a world traveler I am loathe to write reviews but the reason why I am writing has to do with breakfast.

Cinzia was a great host, offering pastries each day at the door plus some. bread and the basics in the fridge (butter, milk, jam) as well as tea, coffee, sugar, etc. The places was in a lovely little street by a church, with ample street parking (she even offers a lend of the blue disk to mark the hours) and several nice places to eat in the immediate vicinity (particularly liked 36 Baronomie for small sharing plates and Le Bar Jo). The bed was very comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was outstanding and the small kitchen next to the dining room had everything you need for a short stay. Dogs stay free, which is a huge bonus!
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The room was very spacious and clean, the house has a huge garden in excellent condition, but above all, the hosts are amazing people. Thank you so much for a great relaxing stay. Absolutely recommended
Very clean room, including coffee machine and refrigerator. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Parking right in front of the accommodation. B&B in a quiet area, surrounded with a beautiful garden.
Super quiet location, the modern house is surrounded by old beech trees and boasts of a lovely garden. Easy parking in front of the property. Pascal and Eric are very friendly hosts.
We truly enjoyed our stay and loved everything about it. The room is well-equipped and have everything needed. It actually exceeded my expectations, since looking at the photos I thought that this place is just OK, but it appeared to be literally perfect.
There’s also an amazing garden in the backyard, where you can simply relax and enjoy the beauty of the countryside.
Marina and Alex are great hosts. I’d definitely stay at their place once again!
I stayed at The Tangla hotel for two days first and then spent 4 nights at The Panorama. Hotels in Brussels are expensive (the price of a nice luxury hotel in London)!
I went to Brussels for surgery so I had to pay. Although the clinic recommends Tangla (and I understand why as it is more luxurious) the Panorama I felt was much better for post-op recovery. It was quiet, quaint and cosy and it felt like home. The staff were amazing, one actually gave me a lift and they give you extra pillows for a very comfortable bed.
