We absolutely loved our stay at Las Olas. The architecture is really whimsical and charming. Our room was huge and had everything we needed including an electric kettle for teas and coffee. The view of the lake from the room was beautiful. The real winner was the fireplace. We made a fire in the room both nights and looked up at the stars through the sky light. Each day the wood basket was replenished free of charge. I wish we could’ve stayed longer.
Boasting a garden and views of garden, Hostal La Chacarilla is a guest house set in a historic building in Copacabana, less than 1 km from Inca Gallows.

Best value for money we had in the past 2 months of travel. The breakfast was amazing (and vegetarian), the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the water in the shower was consistently hot. The host was lovely and she let us store our luggage for a night while we were at the Island. We used the laundry and the clothes came back clean and undamaged.
You can buy the tickets for the boats going to/from Isla del Sol at the hostel. I would recommend doing that so you can skip the line at the ticket office. The prices are the same everywhere, 40 to go to the north of the Island and 30 to go back from the south.
Set on the beachfront in Isla de Sol, JACHA INTI features a garden. The guest house offers mountain views, a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available.

The rooms are very nice, the location is perfect, as you don’t have to climb up the stairs with your bags, the room and the shower is great (my room was on the lower floor), with a great view of the lake the restaurant makes delicious food and the staff is super nice.

Had a really good stay here. The room is quite simple, but the view of the lake from the room and terrace is literally that of a five stary hotel. Very comfy bed, friendly owners, good breakfast. Isla del Sol is a beautiful place.

Perfect position directly at the port for guests with lots of luggage. Comfortable rooms and beds. Nice staff and good kitchen.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Nice place in a good location to access everything in Copacabana, close to the main square and cathedral. The rooms are large and there is a nice garden area in the sun. There are enough blankets to keep you warm at night which are very heavy. The hosts were friendly and gave us recommendations for visiting Isla del Sol. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful. It was quiet at night.
Largish quiet basic room. Good hot water. Very helpful hostess. Short walk to the boat dock for the Island of the Sun (which is beautiful and relaxing).
It's a beautiful, old house with a garden. The area is very peaceful and quiet. The views from the guest house for a lake and the city are truly amazing. My room was nice, comfortable with big bed. The breakfast served on the morning is tasty. Mario is a friendly and helpful, give information to help with sightseeing.
Great host, even with the language barrier, I really liked the guy. Excellent value for a room. Location in a very quiet part of town up the hill. Nice views
The hostel is calm and quiet. The staff and owners were friendly. Breakfast was very good. The games in the common room were a good touch and it was nice to be able to use the kitchen.
Great location in a quiet area, just round the corner from the main street. Staff were very friendly, rooms are spacious and comfortable. You have to pay for breakfast separately but it's very good value. Free coca tea and fruit were a great touch. Some rooms have views of the lake which are beautiful.
Location is a little walk to town but quiet and with great views. Hostel is friendly, with llamas, dogs and cats and good gardens. Breakfast was pretty good, but the same each day so starts to get a bit boring. Hosts were helpful during Bolivian census when everyone was confined to accommodation, allowing us to use their kitchen. There are some excellent Inca sites in Copacabana and just outside which don't get publicised enough, so go explore.
Great location, quiet and clean Hostal. Owners were super friendly and accommodating, including printing off some documents we needed and breakfast was good. The Hostal also has two beautiful dogs which we loved!
