A lovely place to stay especially if you appreciate gardens and nice out door spaces. I enjoyed sitting on the garden furniture outside our room. The breakfast was excellent in a lovely eating area. Lots of choice and lovely fresh fruit and juices. Owners very friendly but limited English. This did not impact a very pleasant stay.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
I spent 4 days at Zizi Home and loved it there! It’s clean, cosy, the kitchen has everything you need and above all owner Zizi really makes you feel like home. She helped me organizing hikes and the transport from/to Cuiaba, took us to local festivities and viewpoints and is just a lovely person overall. I rarely met hostel owners as engaged and organized as her. Zizi also speaks English and Spanish, a rare thing in Brasil! 😉 Last but but least there is the cutest dog in the world living with her 🐶
The host was really gentle and had many dogs (also puppies) and one cat. The breakfast was delicious and complete. The room was comfy and the bathroom was huge, the best bathroom that I have been hahaha. Also there are a lot of macaws in the morning and the pets are the best, so lovely.
Wonderful place to stay. Exceptional owners. Clean, quiet, fantastic beds. Easy 5 min walk to centre to eat. Favourite pousada in this price bracket I stayed at during 4 weeks in Brazil.
We enjoyed our 2-night stay at this pousada and would book again to stay longer. Quiet and beautiful grounds to relax! The included breakfast and dinner ($) were fantastic.
Quiet, comfortable, with easy access to appliances.
Bonus: board games for guests' entertainment.
Great host, very polite and helpful with guests, providing good advice on tours, walks, restaurants, etc.
This is a great guesthouse. Our room was large and clean with a comfy bed. Towels and sheets were clean. Air conditioner and wifi worked well. The best part though is the amazing family that runs it. They are very friendly and kind.. They arranged an inexpensive ride to the park and made recommendations on what to see. They also suggested a great viewpoint in town. It's about a 10 minute walk to downtown, 3 minutes to a grocery store. It is very quiet at night.
