The room was spotless. It was easy to get in with the self-checkin which was important for me since I arrived with the last train. The room had everything I needed, and the bed was perfect. Good pillows, good mattress, just excellent.

The hosts of the hotel were very friendly and helpful despite the fact that I did not speak Swiss-German. I would recommend it as it is quiet and well run. There is also a nice cafe down the road where you can buy a quick and affordable meal. Next time, I hope to be there when the highly rated restaurant next door is open.

Good location, about 8 minutes walk from the train station (keep in mind all uphill/stairs if you have lots of luggage). They were able to accommodate early bag storage for me which allowed me a lot longer to explore before check in. I was surprised to have the tower room, which had a Birds Eye view of the city. The house has lots of charm and is a cool place to stay. The shared shower room and toilet room were not a problem (just no sink in the toilet room). The host was readily reachable by phone to instruct me how to get in for check in.

Hotel should be closed or rebuild as per 2023 standard... There is one WC for all building, room where I stay, was not changing bedsheets, only what was nice and O. K was nice recaption person and breakfast in hotel Heiden... Hotel Park as is today, is not Hotel, maybe Hostel...
