United StatesBreakfast was good with a nice selection of bread, meat and cheese and a boiled egg. Juice and cappuccinos were good.
View from the room was of the rural area all the way to the mountains. Nice quiet location with GREAT free parking.
Dining room was nice and comfy and a good hang. Plenty of menu choices and the prices were good.

Alternatively, it is a 25-30 min stroll. The hostel provides with the Bern Card, so no need to pay for the transport. Placed in a very quiet area. The hostel itself is quite spacious, wide corridors, big living/dining room, shared bathroom… The room was big, vey clean, the same as the shared areas, the bed was comfortable and had a sink with a mirror. It sits on a hill, so even the bus ride to and from the city were nice. Also, Evelyn is such a kind and gracious host! I highly recommend staying here. This is her family home and very well kept. The garden is lovely to sit in. The kitchen and bathroom are modern and were always clean.
