We stayed here for a night as a stopover. Place was spotless clean which is one of the things we most care about. Despite the shared bathroom everything was really nice, clean and organised. Stefania is a great host! She made us feel very welcome, offered free water, tee, coffee, as well as some pastry for breakfast. She also allowed us to park beyond check-out time, as we wanted to roam around Lugano with our bikes a bit longer. Thanks a lot for that!

My experience was really bad.
I booked the hotel one month in advance. I do not know if it is due to Booking.com or the hotel. When it comes close to my date, the price gets lower. And I saw that of 7 rooms, just 2 rooms were booked.
When staying, I finally knew the reason. The location is very far from the city centre (nearly 5km), with that price, is it really worth it?
Secondly, the water here was so dirty, and the cups were partly broken even. The customer service was horrible. If anyone seeing on their site that they supported ticino ticket. NOOO, they stop it.
A piece of advice from me, never book this hotel (choose the one in the city centre), pay attention to the one giving you ticino tickets. Even if you want to find peace, this one has awful facilities.
I thought Booking.com was already disgusging, this one was even worse.
Garni Morettina is a family-run hotel, located in the centre of Brissago, a 2-minute walk away from Lake Maggiore. Every room has a terrace or a balcony with lake view.

Pretty location right on the lake promenade. Close to shops and public transport (Minusio). The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious, very clean, has good shutters, and the bed is very comfotable and big enough for two. The balcony is at the side of the building and thus has partial lake views. The dinner at the restaurant was tasty. The sunday breakfast was very good (breakfast on the other days was only average).
