The location was great - Grachen is a beautiful little village and not far from Zermatt. The breakfast was perfect.

This was the perfect place for me to stay while hiking in the area, although my wife had to cancel due to foot injuries. The host was friendly and knowledgeable about trail conditions following the recent floods, which delayed my arrival, but she informed me about road conditions by phone and messaging. She assisted my befriending another solo international traveler, even though we had no common language - a memory to last a lifetime. Good food proportioned to each guest's needs.
