United KingdomThe traditional wooden chalet was set in a beautiful location at the top of the mountain in Brambruesch, a gondola/cable car ride or 20/30 minute car journey from Chur city centre. The hotel was very clean and well cared for. We had a large family room with stunning views over the valley. It had a large comfy double bed plus bunk beds and a table and seating for 6 people.
Bergpension Battagliahutte had a great homely feel thanks to the hosts Tomas and his lovely family who could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable.

I would also like to especially note the hospitality of the hosts and the wonderful breakfast, which was served exactly at the time we requested. I didn't use the cooking facilities but it's a very clean professional stainless steel kitchen. We were 6 persons, but in spite of that we had plenty of place; we had the whole floor with all fasilities in our use. The hostess was nice, friendly and helpful, she really got us to feel welcome. Also the village was in a nice way a small one. The village is really quiet, so a good nights sleep should be guaranteed. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
