Located in the center of Zurich, Ferd Guest House Zürich Hauptbahnhof is 66 feet from the Sihlquai tram station, 164 feet from the Hauptbahnhof and within a 5-minute walking distance from the Swiss...

The location was perfect : walking distance for a few minutes to main train station, trams and buses so connectivity to different sites very easy. The building/rooms look new and updated including contactless check-in, entry/exit to and from the room. Breakfast was good although it was served in the sister hotel just a few steps away. The room was spacious and clean with modern decor; bed was comfortable. There was 24-hour coffee/tea available in the ground floor. We came in early spring so climate control in the room was not a problem even with the aircon off.

Opened in May 2015, this guest house is located in the northern part of Zurich, a 5-minute walk from the fairgrounds and the indoor stadium.

Breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was amazing. Traditional Swiss breakfast with bread, dairy products and nice cold cuts. The room was as nice as expected with a minimalist, brutalist style. It helped to appreciate the cleanliness. I traveled for business, so location was superb for me. It might not be great if you plan to stay a few days checking the sights in Zurich. However, it's so close to a bus stop that connects to the tram and train, so it's well-connected.

Great location, although it's extremely hard to find the entrance. The hostel is charming and the staff are friendly. Bed was comfortable.

The apartment is gorgeous, super clean and in a great location. The location may appear far from the city center, however it's right next to the Oerlikon train station, and there are at least 2 to 3 trains to the city center every 10 minutes as well as the trams. It made it feel as if we were in the quieter part of the city center.

The apartment has a small kitchen, which is useful if you stay there for several days, and an ironing board if you come for work. It's very quiet. A bit out of the city centre, but it can easily be reached by public transport of by renting a bike. Friendly and flexible host.

Very nice and clean hostel. Breakfast was nice too, but not very cheap, although everything in Zürich is kinda on the more expensive side. The hostel is kinda far from the city centre, but with the train it did not take that long to get there. Washing clothes was easy (thanks to the app), but a bit expensive, too.

I stayed here again, based on my previous experience which was excellent. Everything was exactly how it was during my previous stay. The location is great - close to the lake, close to tram, close to city center, and yet quiet and nice neighborhood. The apartment is clean, very good kitchen facilities. The hosts are very responsive.

Great location, really friendly staff. We could walk everywhere in the city centre and would only take us a maximum of 15 minutes to walk back. We came with our dog and this hotel is truly dog friendly, not just a place where your dog is basically only allowed to quietly exist, like she was allowed to join us for breakfast which is really not that common.

Very spacious room, and a hotel in a great location (quiet, but close to the city centre). Don’t expect the buzz of a regular luxury hotel. It’s more a boutique apartment/suite hotel. Very friendly staff, and offering the (non-alcoholic) contents of the mini bar for free, is a nice gesture.
