Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Really lovely place and wish we’d stayed longer. Have a personal wood burner (that your shown how to use) plus an extra heater. The kitchen had everything we needed and the host is lovely!
Spacious cabin with everything needed - solid fuel stove, kitchen, etc.
Lovely quiet location with nice views over the river
Alejandro was very helpful - great communication and very friendly. Also dropped us over extra wood for the stove on our 3rd day.
We loved our stay at Kalfu Patagonia. The room was very comfortable and so was the bed. The room was very quiet despite the town have a huge party while we were there. Rodolpho is such a great host and so fun to talk to. We would love to see him one day in Brisbane!
Silvana is a wonderful host. She has a wealth of information on the area and she shares it happily . She responds immediately to questions or concerns. All in all a great experience,
Very friendly host and well equipped accommodation. Especially the bed is very high quality and big : even better than at home.
Very quiet neighborhood and well protected parking right next to the accommodation.
Highly recommended.
The large apartment that we booked was very spacious, warm with a huge comfortable double bed. The location is very quiet but still within easy walking distance of the town’s facilities. The breakfast was very good and filling with plenty of scrambled eggs.
The host (Rodolfo) was very helpful, giving us good suggestions for places to walk, places to eat plus the daily weather forecast (usually windy).
Quiet and scenic, by the side of river with its own jetty, Our host lit the log burner each evening so we came back to a warm cabin.
The cabin was spacious and had everything we needed. Only 25 mins from Patagonia Nacional Parque
One of the best hotels I've stayed in Chile. It is super clean, quiet and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious and Rodolphe is a wonderful host, always entitled to help.
Delicious, nicely presented breakfast. Best coffee I have come across in an included breakfast. In Chile full stop actually.
Great hosts. Very helpful getting in touch with other locals to find a solution to a mechanical problem I had.
excellent hosts - very helpful with all the tips and suggestions and genuinely warm. They even helped us to wash our car. Great location- walking distance to everything . The property had WiFi and the breakfast was simple and nice.
