The owner was friendly and helped us book the tours. He was always available on WeChat to answer our questions and help us book a taxi or anything.
Spacious room, calm, clean, good beds.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Reception is great, helping with every single request, like food places, getting show tickets, attractions, etc. Great location too! Highly recommended.
Very good hotel for the price. Room is nice and clean and has everything you need.
The staff there are super helpful with all questions from directions to tours and getting taxis.
I went on a tour organised by the hotel to key places outside of Dunhuang like yumen pass and ghost city. The tour is good value and a must do.
I would recommend to everyone for a trip to Dunhuang
The hostel was comfortable, clean and in a good location. The host was very accommodating and helped us book desert treks, showed us where the covid testing spot that accepted foreigners was, and gave us tips on where to find good food.
The same manager was always on duty and he was very helpful in helping us plan our trip and tours. The hostel was relaxed and was designed to look like the grottos. The design of the hallways and rooms were attractive. The hostel was next to a canal and a couple blocks from the night market and the main shopping street. We had access to a roof top area for washing clothing and for drying clothes.
