United KingdomThe hotel is in a fantastic location directly opposite the old city wall. We found it a little confusing on arrival as there is no obvious name outside and the front looks slightly different than in the pictures. As two British travellers with no Mandarin language skills we could communicate with staff very easily through translation apps.
Our room was on the top floor which we would recommend as that allowed us to see the top of the wall and beyond, rooms lower down seemed likely to just have a view of the wall.
Room was clean and spacious, although lacked wardrobe space. The shower appears to leak under the floor and it and the toilet had confusing controls.
Appreciated the free self service washing machine and dryer.

Dorm beds are comfortable and the guests were observing the quiet hours. Shower and toilet blocks were big and kept very clean. The hostel has a bar and does a great value breakfast. It's clean, the staff are super friendly and will chat with you. It's in a good location close to a metro station that goes straight to the city centre in 5 minutes and also some fast food shops and a mini supermarket.
