My daughter and I found this to be a delightful place to stay. The inn is full of interesting antiques and arrangements, and even sell antiques which was a bonus for me. They have an excellent English speaking worker present at the inn. Each guest chooses one breakfast meal from out of 4 the night before to have prepared for you at your needed time. They were always tasty and if you order orange juice~ it will be fresh squeezed. The rooms are comfortable, my only issue was with a light the shown right above our heads. After I mentioned it to them, they quickly adjusted them to not shine during the night. The inn has a fun personality, the staff is very friendly, the food was great, and it’s comfortable. I highly recommend it!!!

Location was great, very close to the East entrance to Zhangjiajie National Park and a food market.
Wally was exceptional. He would stay with us for as long as we needed to help us with our itinerary and ticket booking.

My stay at Chonghong guesthouse was amazing, the staff treated me super well, helped me with everything I needed and even gave me food and sent me some travel tips.
The place is cozy and, although it's a little bit hard to find, is well located and near the bus station (from which you can go everywhere in the city at a cheap price).
I had a great night of sleep and the neighborhood is very quiet.
Zhangjiajie is an incredible place and I felt I received much more than what I paid for.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Quiet and quaint hotel at the foothills of Zhangjiajie national park. Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful and accommodating. The location near to the West gate of the national park makes it easy to avoid the crowds who normally enters from the East gate. It was a very pleasant stay.
It's very quiet surrounding and host Anthony is fantastic.. making sure we are comfortable, knows where to go, things all booked, back safely. We can wash clothes for free and bottled mineral water on the house.
It's just 10 mins walk to national park, there's few restaurants and bars down the corner. An hour drive to grand Canyon and 50 mins drive to tianmen mountain.
The guesthouse has a very good location, close to one of the entrance gates to the National Park in a quiet village without crowds of tourists. You are at the entrance in 8 minutes on foot. The guesthouse is run by Anthony, who was very helpful in organizing transfers, securing tickets to the park and, in our case, also railway tickets. Accommodation and comfort were fine.
Great host, helped to booked tickets, arranged everything. Nice location, little bit outskirts of town, but has free transfer so it is OK. The place is decenet, nice location, clean room and bathroom. The stuff is super nice. The pool was also clean and refreshing in the warm.
Amazing property, clean, super close to one of the entrances of Zhangjiajie National Park, and the food in the restaurant great and really fairly priced. After a full day of walking, you can take a nice dip in the pool.
The best thing about this place is the staff. Ming is a great host, and is always ready to help. Since he is also a tour guide in the park, he showed us how we can get the most out of our 3 day stay. We saw the whole park with amazing views, thanks Ming!
Host was excellent. Provided us free pick up and drop from airport and also to city center which made our stay extremely comfortable. He also helped us a great deal in planning our two day trip.
Awesome place! The hostel lies quietly hidden among tea fields within the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, yet 5 min walking from the nearest bus stop. The hosts are super friendly and give great suggestions on routes to avoid the masses and make the best of your time. They serve extremely delicious local breakfast and dinner. The rooms are not luxurious, but perfectly fine, clean and well equipped. I would definitely visit again!
I had an incredible stay here, it was perfect for my visit to Zhangjiajie! The place is in a great location to be able to access the National Park and the Glass Bridge Grand Canyon nearby. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and contain everything you need. The neighbourhood was quiet and was very safe. Our host, Rebecca, is very welcoming and makes you feel right at home. She helped us with so much, such as booking tickets, suggesting an itinerary and providing tips, arranging transportation and getting breakfast, and goes above and beyond!
