We had a wonderful stay, right by the sea, surrounded by palm trees and immersed in nature. The food and cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced. The Wi-Fi is great and works everywhere. There are many spots to relax, and the chalets are really beautiful.
The only downside was that the water in the bathrooms is cold, and they could have been cleaner. Also, there was nothing provided to dry your hands with.
Despite that, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d love to come back!

When you arrive at Encanto Hostel you find the paradise! A peacful atmosphere implemented in the most beautyful garden I have ever seen! Directly located at the river where you can take a refreshing bath. If you follow the road up you can hike to a beautyful waterfall site. The Costeño beach and Tayrona Natinoalpark Entrance are close by and if you do the Lost City Treck the Jeep transfer can pic you up easily as the hostsl is on the way. For me it was the perfect stay at Encanto before and after doing the hike.
The accomodation provides very cosy beds (surrounded by mosquito nets) in an open house - I had the best sleep with great a pillow, waking up in the morning accompanied by the beautyful sound of the tropical birds.
Harold is the nicest host! He does everything to make you feel welcome and comfortable! The food cooked by two wonderful columbian ladies is so delicious!! Free coffee and tea are provided all day.
Also very nice is that you can play pool billiard and pingpong for free! You can chillax in a hammock or use a gymnastics mat for doing yoga or exercises.
The Wifi is excellent, I could do my remote work without any problem.

The Executive room was a double bed in a wooden room next to reception. You could here everything. People above walking around with dust falling through the floor boards. Nice bar next door but the music was on all day and till late. So if you want peace and quiet this is not the place.

This is just a few minutes (by bus) from the park entrance. It had incredible views... It's absolutely worth the climb up the stairs! I extended my stay by a day to enjoy it by the pool in the Hammack as I found the view nicer than the actual park. Very friendly and helpful staff. There isn't much in the way of restaurants for dinner, so you may want to bring something, or there is a small store for snacks/drinks 50m away. The room I had (at the top of the hill) was huge with strong AC.
Boasting garden views, HOSTAL Estrellas del tayrona playa mendihuaca provides accommodation with patio, around 2.1 km from Playa de Mendihuaca.

At this beach i think this is the cheapest option. And it´s nice to have a wood room with seaview with a terrace in front, where you can lay in a hammock just 10 meter away from the sea with little surf possibilities. The personal is super friendly and the breakfast was one of the best we had in Columbia.
Offering a garden and garden view, Moon Wind Tayrona Hostel is situated in El Zaino, 2.1 km from Castilletes Beach and 34 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino.

I loved the 3 bed dorm, which was clean and had towels free of charge. Watched the sunset from right outside the hostel and went for a walk to the further beach which was so magical. What a beautiful location. I left early to get to tyrona work and kindly the host made me breakfast early. What a fab hostel and beautiful dreamy location. I want to go back, one night was not enough.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Great location, very helpful staff. The individual rooms/pods and very nice. It is possible to use the facilities of the hostel next door (restaurant, swimming pool etc). There is a fan in the room to keep cool at night.
Beautiful clean huts right on the beach.
Superb views and right next door to Los Hermanos hostel which serves food/drinks all day and has a pool and loads of activities.
Nice and quiet, you can hear the music from next door but the room fan drowns it out to still sleep well etc :)
Really lovely hosts who were so welcoming and made sure our stay was a good one. We had a private room which was big and clean and had a balcony at the back with a hammock and was close to a beautiful river you can enjoy that runs through their property. The beach was a walk maybe 20 minutes or so but it meant evenings were so nice and quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend!
beautiful hostel, I stayed in a private room which was spacious. the gardens in the hostel are breathtaking, and theres a lot of spaces to chill and read/meditate/yoga etc. Very close to beautiful nature spots and cose to the beach but in a quieter area.
Great accommodation in a great area with a great host. A charming beach bar is just around the corner. The only small improvement would be for guests from Europe, for example, to be able to pay the deposit easily via Paypal, which was not yet possible for me.
Service and staff were fantastic. Out host Laura was brilliant and spoke perfect English. i could not speak more highly of her and the other staff there. Great location and good parties in the nearby hostels. cocktails were also very cheap!!!
