The rooms are rather terraces than rooms so you basically sleep outside in the jungle. Of course the mosquito net keeps unwanted visitors out. There might be monkeys, a sloth or a Tukan stopping by to say hi from time to time. Lucia was a great host and helped us cope with all the unforeseeable problems that can arise in such a remote place since she seems to know everybody in the village. Great breakfast every morning. Muchas Gracias!
Featuring garden views, Cabañas Los Almendros provides accommodation with balcony, around 400 metres from Capurganá Beach.

This is a beautiful, restful place on the edge of the town (which is a lovely place but which does have Very Loud Music so it's good to be out of the way.) Carlos and Maricela are both extraordinarily kind and helpful. Maricela cooked wonderful breakfasts until she had to go away to Medellin, and then it turned out that Carlos was just as good as a cook. There are often power cuts in Capurgana, and a storm knocked out the WiFi but such problems were easy to accept at such a comfortable place.
With mountain views, Casa Alma is situated in Capurganá and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden and picnic area. This beachfront property offers access to a patio.

I had an amazing time with them and definitely recommend diving and staying with them :) Juan is a great and fun dive instructor. And Eduardo even came to look all over the village for me because last minute we could do a night dive!! If you are there around new moon, go and do a night dive - the bioluminiscent plancton is soooo beautiful. The dive sites in general are really nice and we saw lots of different fish and corals and a turtle <3 I wish I could have stayed longer.
They are building a bigger pool right now, which then will also be for people staying in the accomodation.
Filtered water was for free. They also have two very cute cats. Its right around the harbour and some shops and nice restaurants.
Just as a headsup: Capurgana has no stable electricity. But just enjoy the peace and calm and being disconnected ;-)

the room was super clean, comfortable beds and good bathroom!
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The host was so lovely and amazing and the view out the door was amazing!!! So gorgeous. She helped us find the waterfall and the beach in Panama. It’s also in a perfect spot for Sapzurro.
Johanna is an incredible host! I'd even say the best one with met so far! She tried to make everything possible for us. We could change the dates of our reservation, could wash our clothes for free, could use stuff from the kitchen etc.
The rooms are super nice with huge TVs and we really enjoyed our time there!
Place is a very special spot for a proper desconection and rest. Sandra is a very kind and helpful host: she makes you feel like in home but with see :)

I spent 4 nights at Cafe del Mar and it was an amazing stay. Chris is a very nice host and provides helpful advice if you want to explore the area. The food is very good and varied, from breakfast to dinner. The location is great, right on the nicest beach of Sapzurro.
Very nice guesthouse directly at the sea with an amazing view over the bay of Sapzurro. Super friendly owners, Chris, Sandra and Esperanza make you feel at home.
A gorgeous room on the top floor of a traditional cabin, set back from the seafront amongst the trees. Patricia is an amazing host, very helpful. The price includes use of kayaks, snorkel, etc.
