Loved the authentic accommodation. On the doorstep to all the nature and wildlife you dream of.Kerley and family were wonderful hosts and are passionate about what they do.Very good value, bedrooms were clean with a simple ensuite bathroom but you had everything you needed. The kitchen was very impressive so it was very easy to prepare your own food.if you wanted to..Loved the verandah .We went on bird trips with Kerley, and he looked after us really well.Got some amazing birds and animals and learned plenty from him

Templo del Tigre in Dos Brazos provides accommodation with an open-air bath and a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.

Such an amazing place, clean, tidy and well kept, surrounded by intense spectacular jungle and wildlife. The most beautiful river a few hundred feet away from the property is perfect for cooling off in and enjoying a revitalising start to the day. There are so many places to see in the surrounding area, with a choice of walks that can test and experienced hiker or let you take in the breathtaking surroundings at a mellow pace. The rooms are super clean and allow you to feel surrounded by the jungle yet give you large, uncluttered and clean personal space. I was made to feel so welcome by the staff and volunteers. The two owners were so interesting, genuine and kind, they really care about your experience, Both of them were so helpful and arranged trips and excursions from Dos Bravos (the town) as well as imparting their experiences of places in the country. Honestly I'm still blown away by my time at Templo Del Tigre, the rich jungle, sunny weather with the occasional tropical down pour, the wildlife, jungle sounds, gold miners and such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay and experience one of the most bio diverse places on the planet. Could not recommend this place more highly.

Providing garden views, Los Mineros Guesthouse in Dos Brazos offers accommodation, an open-air bath and a garden. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.

Suzanne, the host, is very nice, helpful and communicates in several languages. She sent us excellent directions by text message so we wouldn't get lost following her GPS suggestions. Her husband Channy was our tour guide, who is not only very nice but is actually a native of the jungle. He knows all about the local wildlife and tailored a tour for us that would make us maximally happy...and beyond. The accommodation is not up to my usual European standard of comfort, but no insects or lizards came into the room at night. So I would recommend to everyone that after a refreshing shower you just close your eyes and enjoy the sounds of the jungle. I feel that our trip to Costa Rica was crowned by Channy's fantastic tour!!!

We have booked two rooms, so we ended having whole house with kitchen and a terrace for us. Carlos can also pick you from the port at Puerto Jimenez as the lodge is located just few steps away for the Tiger trail. It's so close to Corcovado NP that sometimes you just don't to go to the park, as the animals come to your porch!

Los Mineros Guesthouse was an outstanding starting point to explore the Osa Peninsula. Suzanna and Channy were wonderful hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. Channy was a great tour guide throughout our time there and loved sharing his knowledge and life experiences growing up in the jungle. The accommodations fit the ruggedness of the area and were what expected when we booked. We had a great time there!

Suzanna and Chani were amazing! They were both extremely welcoming and helpful! Staying at Los Mineros was my favourite part of my trip to Costa Rica. The guesthouse is surrounded by nature and you see all kinds of wildlife. It’s a perfect place to recharge. Chani is a great guide and showed me beautiful places in the jungle and numerous animals. I feel very fortunate to have found this guesthouse!

Situated right on the edge of the forest. Howler monkeys right behind the guest house in the morning. If you want to see some snakes make sure you do the night walk!!

This is a great guesthouse in a fantastic location. Suzanna is a very helpful and knowledgeable host, happy to sit and chat with her guests. Chani is a brilliant local guide and it's well worth going out on one or more of his tours. There are many options to walk locally in the Golfo Dulce reserve, which is stunning. You will see lots of wildlife without straying too far from the guesthouse. Overall, we really enjoyed our 6 nights at Los Mineros and were sad to leave.

Suzanna and Channy are great hosts; we did a day tour with Channy to Matalpalo and saw monkeys, sloth, macaws, pelicans - & more plus swam in waterfalls and at a beautiful beach. Just four of us plus guide and so good. Night tour also special. Very relaxed at property; big open air dining / sitting area and use of kitchen. Room very basic but clean and adequate ; cold water only ; fan on wall & mosquito net provided though not needed. Free good wifi.
