Boasting a garden and views of garden, Casa del Cafe-Familiar is a guest house set in a historic building in Heredia, 40 km from Poas National Park.

We stayed in Casa del Café for one night the day we arrived in Costa Rica. We only spent the night and left early the following morning. The location a short drive away from the airport was perfect, the house is beautiful surrounded by a big garden, the hosts very attentive and friendly.

Location was excellent, beautiful views, great staff. Close to many walks and forest areas. Bed was comfortable room was a good size, had a balcony with fireplace but the wood was damp so it didn't burn well. We had booked 3 nights left after 2 and the owner was very accommodating

The house was clean and tidy and made a good impression. A comfortable room with facilities (eg Refrigerator, ice) available in the kitchen area adjacent to the breakfast room. Breakfast was 'tipco' but nice with lovely fresh fruits and good coffee. The courtyard was pleasant to sit out in during the evening and apart from barking dogs (external to the property) was very peaceful.

Situated in Río Segundo, the recently renovated Airport Green Studio features accommodation 35 km from Poas National Park and 5.9 km from Alejandro Morera Soto Stadium.

Neat, cozy interior, modern facilities. Hosts were super nice and picked us up from our rental car return station and shuttled us to the airport at 4am in the morning!

A recently renovated guest house in San José, Casa Jardin del Mango offers outdoor fireplace, private parking and sports facilities.

A lovely small place. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were very delayed arriving due to our flight delays and the lovely man at reception assured us it was fine and was at the hotel to greet us. We walked to a local restaurant in the evening and it seemed safe.

This time around, I stayed in the deluxe room. Nice and big room with lots of light. The double bed is very comfortable. The hostel is 15 min taxi ride from the el caribe bus terminal and 45 min from the airport. There are coffee shops, supermarkets and banks in walking distance. Free water dispenser

We were picked up and dropped back at the airport, as we also hired a car for two weeks. I have to say it was one of the easiest stress free start and finish to a holiday that we have ever experienced. It was all so effortless and we were very impressed by the service we received

    Second time staying at this lovely and convenient home in a nice neighbourhood for easy transfer to the airport. Maria is a great hostess and the rooms are clean and comfy, with lovely linens and towels, plus she helped me arrange a taxi. I look forward to may next visit to Casa Stella! Thanks! :)

    Breakfast is good with fresh fruits. Cleanness very good and Quiet. Very nice accommodation, suprt friendly host. We would recommend to anyone arriving or departing in San José as a stopover before travelling further as Casa Stella is near to the airport.
