The casita we stayed at has a good storage space. We were two people and we had more than enough place to put our luggage and things. However, in the bedroom there are not enough hangers. The beds and pillows are comfortable and the room has a cute decoration. The room has an air conditioning and also a fan, so you choose which one to use. The casita has a small but functional kitchen with good quality pots, just make sure to bring your own spices (salt, pepper, oil, etc.), as there are none. Be aware that the property does not offer dinning options, that is why every casita has its kitchen.
The terraza is a great place to chill out and it includes the dinning and living areas: a wooden dinning benches, armchairs, and a hammock. Each casita has the parking spot right next to it, just be aware that it is not covered. The property includes a nice small swimming pool perfect for relaxing.
The property is located on a hill right next to the main road, and 1.5 kilometers from Montezuma downtown. You can hear the cars, but also congos and many birds. If you are lucky, you can also see the guatusas around the gardens or right in front of your casita.

The owner Sandy lives in the same house, the apartment is in the first floor and she is really helpful with advises. The view and the beach is very nice. It also has a big terrace. It is also very close to bars and restaurants.

We had a very nice stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were more comfortable than we expected and the location of the hostel is great (less than 5 min to the beach!!). We are nomad workers and the WiFi was very reliable and quick!

The hostel is very central in Paquera.
It has all the facilities needed for a short stay and it was very clean.
The best thing was the service!! Roman is amazing, extremely kind and helpful!! He helped me booking a taxi from Paquera Port to the hotel! I arrived late and he waited kindly and checked that I was fine during my travel. I felt very well taken care of!
I would definitely recommend this hostel and Roman to everyone!

Casa Frangipani is just beautiful- it exceeded our expectations. The villa was perfect for our family of our four. The pictures don’t actually do it justice. The two outside terraces have stunning views, with the pool area and other communal spaces you’re spoilt for choice!
Very friendly welcome from Wilmer, the caretaker. His English was limited but he was nonetheless very helpful and keeps the property spotless. Easy access to downtown for bars and restaurants.
I just wished we were staying here longer.

Nella is a wonderful person. She helped us with washing and even gave as a mango for next day. It was a really nice to stay at Casa de Cachi.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Great location. The house was very well thought out. Lots of room inside with everything we needed. Outside was teaming with local wildlife. Great views. The host was very communicative and happy to give advice when needed. Would highly recommend and would definitely revisit.
Great location, within walking distance from the beach, shops and restaurants and waterfall. The host was super helpful and friendly, gave lots of great recommendations.
A quiet location right by the ocean and inside the jungle. Within reach of everything ( Montezume, Santa Teresa etc.). Supermarkets,a bakery , and restaurants nearby. There is a kitchen for each bungalow if you wish to make meals. We liked the place and liked our host ( a native English speaker) ,and enjoyed talking to him. A great experience. We highly recommend this place!
Amazing vibe and great location with good facilities. The food is also great and you can have Italian, Argentinian and sushi. Marco is an excellent and friendly host . The staff are also very helpful and friendly. We already miss the place.
Very pretty big house with a great kitchen and pretty garden around with fresh fruit. The rooms are nice and clean, though there are a lot of ants and other insects due to the forest around. The host ist very nice and always available for any issues. Only slightly negative thing is the location, as it is quite far from the small city. It’s 30 min by foot down to the beach/Montezuma or a 6000 colones taxi ride up/down. The host does however offer to drive you up/down one time a day.
Overall we had a lovely time!
