Maria’s place was absolutely wonderful. The room was great, as was the shower, there was free tea and coffee in the kitchen, and Maria was incredibly helpful and kind. The location in Plateau is also fantastic. I will for sure stay here again next time I come to Praia!

AWA Cabo Verde is a recently renovated guest house in Praia near Praia de Quebra Canela.

It was just for tonight before my fly back. But it was the best day so far a cape of Verde. A great location, just behind the Parliament very very clean and great hospitality.

    This place is really charming. Very spacious, well equipped. Our host was very helpful and nice, really exceptional. The apartment is close to the cafes, restaurants, beaches and the surrounding is safe and quiet. Definately worth visiting!

    Really great, very comfortable apartment in quiet and safe area of Praia. Tony was truly fantastic host. He was always available on WhatsApp, we felt in his company like he was our best friend. I warmly recommend his apartment to anyone who wants to spend the night in Praia.

    Perfect location to visit Praia and the island, and you can't have better price/value ratio. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and there is AC and very good wifi. I actually found the rooms surprisingly quiet for such a central location. The ladies managing the place are super nice and flexible. As a female solo traveller, I also felt very safe. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse.

    Claudia, our host, was there to welcome us. She's charming, but speaks neither English nor French, and unfortunately we don't speak Portuguese. Fortunately, our stay only lasted 1 night.

    Great position in the center of the most hip street in Praia's plateau. Very good comunication during the previous days, the host was kind enough to wait for us to change money the day after. Has a cheaper than average and very friendly paid shuttle that was great for transfer to and from the airport.

    This is a new place on booking.com, and we were the first guests. The kitchen is very well equipped, and there is a lot of space. One bedroom was already equipped with an AC, the second room was in preparation (they provided a fan which was sufficient). There is also an AC in the main room. Patrick was a great host, extremely nice & helpful, thanks a lot! The location is fantastic, right in the center. I can happily recommend that place!

    Very friendly, friendly and responsive staff,quiet apartment, perfect location, in the city centre but still very quiet. Big room, air-conditioning working perfectly. Very clean and tasteful decoration.I would highly recommend staying here if you visit Praia.Great location on the Plateau, right next to the pedestrian street with shops and restaurants. and bus stop, NR:8 and 6 to beach!I loved my stay there. I will back for sure!

    Great little guesthouse in Praia´s Plateau. Very clean and with super helpful staff. We arranged an airport pickup through the host, as well as got a car rented for the duration of our stay. Great location.
