I loved that you could even make a fire in the fireplace (I wish I could have used it, but the temperature was ok). There isn't any air conditioning but you won't need it. The bed was very comfortable (The double bed was 2 beds joined together, which for us is a bit uncomfortable. We asked for a solution, and were offered an extra blanket to put in the little gap, which worked perfectly :) The food was fresh and tasty. They knew in advance that one of us is vegan, and made sure we will have vegan options for breakfast and dinner. That was very nice.
