The lady that ran the place was helpful and cheerful. This small charming town has one restaurant that often closes at 3, a small grocery store, "coop", is open 6 to 6 and closed Sundays and Saturday afternoons and one tavern. These shops are all close to the Penzion. This area is for cycling, walking, and hiking. Google translator is needed if you don't speak Czech. There is zero English spoken here. Czech Korunas are used here and preferred over euros.

A good location for a relaxing stay in Hroznová Lhota, Penzion U maléřa is a guest house surrounded by views of the city.

I have stayed here twice and I really enjoy it. The owners are kind and friendly. I would give a perfect rating, but the wifi signal is quite weak and the bath towel is very small. But these are minor things. I would absolutely return.

    We had an amazing stay ... lovely host and the best wine experience that we could possibly ask for . Spacious room with ensuite bathroom . Lovely tasty breakfast . Ladislav was extremely helpful to arrange most amazing wine tasting full of knowledge . We will be most grateful to come back again .

    The breakfast was varied, tasty and plentiful. The host was a charming lady, who could not speak english but was equipped with a translation app on her phone. It made conversations quite humourous. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for her.

    the property has a beautiful yard, and the hostess is very kind and helpful! We had dinner and breakfast, the homemade food was very good! it was very clean and the beds were very comfortable! I can also highly recommend the wine that they make themselves in their vineyard!
