Nestled in the Black Forest, this hotel made for a very comfortable base for a long weekend of hiking. Several walks start from the hotel, and others just a short drive away. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner service. Also, a very special mention to the extremely accommodating and friendly staff - they went out of their way to help us- e.g. providing room service upon request, making sure people with dogs were not seated next to each other in the restaurant (this is something that we don't see staff take care of often). Comfortable beds, and a really nice shower and water pressure.

Unfortunately, we arrived to the guest house after dark so we missed out on the perfectly beautiful surroundings and the scenery on the way, unfortunately we only stayed for one night but the place itself was just perfect!! although I personally found the place's design a bit outdated, if we put that a side and focus on the important stuff all was just great! The family room was huge and comfy, beds were really nice and general atmosphere was warm and cozy. Breakfast was just perfect

it was a wonderful time. Kemp( owner ) and his family was a very friendly, kind and nice person for everybody. environment was wonderful. breakfast was awesome( fresh milk from their own cows with complete German Breakfast). they allowed me to check in 2 hours early. location was very convenient. everything was perfect. if you want to feel the nature, this is the best place.
