It is a cozy, well-equipped apartment, which also offers a view from the window of the iconic building of the Bauhaus school. Andrea and her husband are very nice and great hosts. Great staff, normally it's a self-checkin hotel, but I got to meet one of the managers. I got an upgrade to a a double room (arguably a Genius program perk but much appreciated). The room had a fully equipped bathroom for the disabled, which is so rare in Germany I have to commend the host for the extra investment. Rooms are spacious and the hostel has all the facilities you need.
