Tourists receive a Fussen ticket which allows the free use of local public transportation. Fussen is a charming town and I recommend the Il Pescatore italian restaurant. We arrived at 1pm and it was no problem at all, check in was super easy and our host gave us tips for dinner and walking. The house is in the roof, so there is a low beam and if you cannot take stairs (there is a lift most of the way up) you may find this place difficult, but for us, it was simply fantastic.
