Barbel was a very helpful host who got the right balance between being helpful and recognising our privacy. Any questions were answered swiftly. The self catering apartment was beautifully put together, very comfortable and well equipped. It also had excellent heating and hot water and a nice big TV which was great in bad weather. Everything worked very well and we had a comfortable week there.

It's very clean, small kitchen at every floor - very good option, you don't need to go down every time. All facilities are there.

Located in the little Saxon town Thum, the Ratskeller is the perfect base for trips to various destinations in the Erzgebirge region - I did a two day stay during a motorcycle tour from Zwickau home to Karlsruhe and took the opportunity to visit the motorcycle museums in Zschopau and and Schloss Augustusburg nearby. The Staff is exceptionally friendly and the food served in the restaurant is very deliciuos. I felt very comfy during my stay and will return very soon.
