Lovely quiet guesthouse on riverfront. We had the Merlot room overlooking the river with a private terrace. The hosts were charming and local, the room was clean, comfortable and well appointed and the breakfast had a huge choice from the buffet plus a cooked egg option. Parking was easy right outside, the WiFi was fast and stable and the local wine excellent.

We had a lovely two-night stay and based ourselves here as it allowed us to explore the Mosel up and downstream. The room and the breakfast room appeared freshly refurbished to a high standard, and a shiny new wine tasting area / restaurant has been added. Breakfast was excellent, and we were offered a lockable space for our motorbike. There is wine for sale to the rooms from a fridge located in a common area. It is worth noting that many of the wineries and restaurants are shut on Monday and Tuesdays, even in late July, when we visited.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Very nice host, room with view on the river. No any noise can be heard from the traintrack behind the accomodation.
Complete breakfast. Not too far from the village (can walk)
The apartment is on the first floor via stairs but no problem for us, we felt at home straight away, spacious and nicely furnished in wood, everything was there one needed for a holiday, stunning views of the mosel valley and the Marienburg from the apartment and balcony. Also the hosts were a very pleasant couple, in all a really pleasant stay. Can only recommend.
