Close and convent to the ferry. The proprietor was very good at solving a problem when I was locked out due to a door latch malfunction. He apologized profusely and offered a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates as a means of an apology which was not necessary. I would recommend this place to anyone who is interested.

I had no idea what to expect. At first sight I was a bit concerned. But turned out to be very good place to stop. Room was spartan but comfortable. Breakfast very good. Torben put a lot of effort into it and nice variety, including hot food. He seems to be a one man show. He was great. Nice, helpful. Tea and coffee available, other stuff for inexpensive purchase on honor system. Comfortable indoor and outdoor space to read. Was a good choice for a stop on the way to Skagen

    The communication from Birthe prior to arrival and during our stay was excellent. We were visiting family in Sindal and the hostess kindly organise bicycles for us to use during our 13 day stay. This enabled us to easily get around to the shops and bakery which are located nearby. There is also Sindal railway station located within a 10 min walk to Engbo. The unit is quiet and comfortable and has everything you need. The view across the deer park provides guests with a nice relaxed, rural ambiance.

    The apartment was very nice, with two bedrooms and a living room, besides a bathroom and kitchen. The beds were excellent, the place spotlessly clean and the location superb, in a rural area with peace and quiet. We arrived in the late evening and was very pleasantly surprised to see that our hostess had started the old wood oven and the rooms were already warm and cosy. Altogether a very nice experience

    We were lucky to arrive on a Friday evening, as Friday night is fresh pizza night—home-made in the wood burning oven in the garden… yum! The hosts are the most charming, kind and welcoming people, it was pure joy to stay with them.
