We had a wonderful experience in Las Galeras, and a big part of it was thanks to Dario, an exceptional host who made our stay truly special. From the very first moment, he welcomed us warmly and ensured that we had everything we needed to feel at home.
The accommodation he provided was simply perfect: spacious, clean, comfortable, and set in a breathtaking natural environment. The area is peaceful and far from mass tourism, making it not only beautiful but also incredibly pleasant. It was the ideal retreat to relax after spending our days exploring the stunning beaches nearby.
Dario didn’t just offer us the best possible conditions for our stay—he constantly made sure we had great recommendations on how to make the most of our time in Las Galeras. Thanks to his guidance, we discovered hidden gems and explored some of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic. The excursions he suggested were spectacular, taking us to breathtaking locations we would have never found on our own.
His kindness, availability, and passion for the place made our experience even more authentic and unforgettable. It’s rare to find a host so attentive and caring!
We can’t wait to return because, besides discovering an incredible destination, we were lucky enough to meet such a wonderful person. Thank you for everything, Dario! See you again soon! 😊🌊🏝️

Everything was clean, I was given beach towels in addition to normal shower towels and Richard was super helpful. I arrived on a day with heavy thunderstorms and he invited me to have homemade dinner so I wouldn't have to go out in the rain.
The location is also great. It's only a very short walk to the boat terminal where tours to Los Haitises and the ferry to Sabana de la Mar depart from.
Featuring a garden and views of garden, Casa ARCOIRIS is located in Las Galeras, 600 metres from La Playita Beach. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The property was very beautiful, adorned with flowers, and located in a stunning and quiet area, just a short walking distance from one of the most beautiful beaches in Las Galeras. The hosts were very kind and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, and the cocktails were delicious. We even play to return one day!
Dario was an an absolutely exceptional host. He could not have been kinder or more helpful. He also took the time to give lots of good advice. We feel like we left with a new friend. The accommodation was very suitable for three. The location is very quiet, the garden is refreshing, and the beach is very close. Really good value
Luca is a great host, and the vounteers were also friendly and helpful. I loved the building (inside and outside area), beautiful and cosy. The location is perfect, a short walk from the beach. It is only one minute from the main street, where you can take a guagua to Samaná or where it drops you off. A minimarket and a fruit shop are also right on the corner of the main street. You find good restaurants nearby.
Location, tranquillity, weather, possibility to see whales from terrace, amenities, housekeeper Margo makes amazing local food, house guardian Enel brings fresh fruits and coconuts every morning. Hans is very knowledgeable and helpful host. Perfect escape for big family or group of friends to little corner of paradise.
20 minutes drive you can find perfect beaches.
We loved every minute of our stay in a villa.
P.s. we felt very safe
Very helpful French hosts. Room was very clean, had lots of storage options and was quite new. 15 minutes by foot to both beaches in Las Galeras. Breakfast was nice (not included). The hotel is in a very quiet area.
Andrea is a great host, he built amazing property in the middle of nowhere. Still, you can reach famous Playa Rincon and El Limon waterfall in no time. We really enyojed time spent in 21 palms, outstanding property and the owner. BTW they gave us upgrade without charge and the local beach is one of the best in Dominican Republic.
The garden is beautiful, it's nice that the hotel is in a quiet area, but close to the main street and the beach (10 minutes by foot).
Emiliano was a great host, he gave us some good tips and he helped us when we realized we didn't have the right phone chargers with us.
