It was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. There is free water and tea, plus breakfast and dinner are included (and delicious!). It got cold at night, but there were plenty of blankets. Highly recommend staying here before starting the Quilotoa Loop hike!

It was good enough. Having a place at the end of the Quilotoa loop was good. However, they advertise a hot tub, wood stoves, and a cozy common area for socializing . The hot tub was broken, and getting the staff the light the wood stove was like pulling teeth. In the end the common area was deserted, because it was freezing (no lit stove) and my room was warm for a bit and then was freezing as well, because the stoves are just not very good

María and her husband run the hotel. They were lovely from the beginning to the end. She is a very gifted chef and will cook delicious meals for you while you stay there.
Quilotoa itself seems to be going through a boom of people opening hostels and restaurants, we visited during low season and hence it seemed that the town was half empty. Prices are ridiculous cheap for what you can get. Our room had a king size bed, a little fireplace that warmed us through the night and a private bathroom with boiling water- everything that you can wish after a good day of hike. While in there we hiked Quilotoa rim, but also did the short hike to the bottom of the crater and back. All free hikes.
Highly recommended to visit and to stay in this hostal. It’s conveniently place right by the entry of the town.
Featuring a garden, Quilotoa Green Lake provides accommodations in Quilotoa. There's a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.

Family running hotel was so kind and accommodating. Great location
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The host are very nice and helpful. I had a late bus from Quito and arrived late at 9, Victor came to pick me up and they still cooked me a very nice dinner. Victor also provided me with very helpful information about Quilotoa loop. The room itself is also a nice one.
Lovely little hostel with insane views over the mountains. The room was little but very comfy. The host and the lama are super nice. We got free water, tee, and coffee and had a good lunch and breagt breakfast. For 3 USD, we got a lunchbox with a sandwich, apple, banana, cookies, chocolate, and little sweets. Just great. The host even gave us 2 poles for the hike. There is also a luggage transfer for 20 USD to the final hostel in Quilotoa. Definitely recommend.
Perfect place to stay in Sigchos for the Quilotoa loop as the trail starts next to the property. Viktor (unsure of spelling) was a lovely host and helpful. The views from the garden are amazing. The evening meal consisted of soup, meat, rice and juice. Breakfast was fruit, oats, yoghurt, eggs, bread and juice. Free tea, coffee and water. Packed lunches are available and well priced for what you get. Strong WiFi, hot shower and comfortable room.
The hostel is super cosy and has a beautiful view over the valley. The owners are super kind and the food is delicious! We had a comfortable room with bathroom. Also the location is super convenient right at the start of the walk. It is very quite and peaceful in the evenings. And they offer packed lunch which you can take with you on the walk. Definitely recommend to stay here!
Starlight Inn is the ideal place to start the Quilotoa hike. Located just outside Sigchos the hostel provides excellent vistas of the surrounding countryside and is as charming during the sunset as it is at dawn. Billiard, board games, and a llama all included!
The owner was very welcoming and caring and provided us with a tasty and fulfilling dinner and breakfast. I had this hostel as the starting point for the 3-day Quilotoa hike. I especially liked that the owner doublechecked on my planned route. If you're lucky with the weather, you have a great scenery from there as well as a good outlook on the first part of the trip.
lovely house in magical peaceful location
very comfortable en-suite room with great hot shower!
delicious supper provided on request, fabulous breakfast too!
