Theresa was an absolutely amazing host. She picked us up in Tricastela and drove us to her amazing house. We got a little guided tour on the way. Everything was absolutely perfect, the nature and surroundings magical. Book here if you can!

WOW Casa Galego is an amazing place to stop on right on the Camino path, the couple that own it are great hosts, Modesta (I think), the lady that runs it is so welcoming, and nothing is a too much for her. That night, she homecooked a meal for us, which was the best we ever had on our Camino journey to date. Breakfast the following morning was plentiful too. The who building is bright, modern, and spotless.
We got caught in a snow storm, and she arranged a taxi to bring us down to Triacastela the following morning, where we rejoined the Camino. Would love to return sometime in the future. She loves having people in her home, and it shows exactly that.

We had a really great room with excellent comfortable beds and a massive walk-in shower. Both were very welcome after a rainy day on the Camino! Staff were so friendly and helpful too pointing out the laundry room where we could also clean our boots. An excellent- geat value stop on the Camino

Our 6th stay in this rural camino stop with a quiet modern room, hot shower and a very responsive bar restaurant downstairs. Nuria, who has taken over from her mother, made us excellent simple vegetarian food and welcomed us warmly. Lovely spot.

We were hiking the Camino de Santiago and accommodation in Triacastela (a small village) is quite limited, so the Boutique Vila (a small house with 3 x separate bedrooms and private bathrooms) was probably the best option. Staff were friendly and bathroom had nice toiletries. The room and bed was very clean.

The owners were very welcoming and friendly. They tried to meet our every need. When it started to rain on our clothes hanging on the clothes line, they strung a rope on the covered porch for us to use. Dinner was delicious and they offered extras - homemade soup and a yummy dessert.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
A really special place to stay. We wanted somewhere cosy to feel Christmasy in December and this was perfect. Christmas movies infront of a log fire with access to beautiful mountains. Hosts are wonderful and really helped for making it a special weekend away.
