Located within 23 km of Las Médulas Roman Mines and 7.5 km of Ponferrada Castle, Hostal Restaurante LA SENDA provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Camponaraya.

The Hostal is in a great old stone building right on the Camino de Santiago. The updated room was small but comfortable with the bare necessities. The Restaurant was good, serving tasty, reasonably priced Daily Menus and breakfast. Good value for money, overall. The staff was very kind and attentive.

It was on the pilgrimage route, so that was perfect. Unlike many hostels/alburgues they have a reception and allow late arrivals.

It was right on the Camino Frances. Close to bars and restaurants. The room we were silicates had a bad odour in it but the host was very understanding and we were given another room. This room was lovely with a large bathroom.

The hostel was directly on the Camino and easy to find. It was behind a bar but surprisingly quiet, even on a Saturday night. Room was spacious and comfortable.
