We stayed here during the last stage of the Camino de Santiago de Compostela so obviously a little weary. The owner went out of her way to make us welcome and gave us some true Spanish hospitality. Fresh bread, olives, jam on and local beer. The place is beautiful and the owner makes it very special.

Our last nights stay before reaching Santiago on the Camino and we couldn’t have chosen better.

Staying here was like staying at your Grandma's. Quaint sheets and Blankets and floral covers. The people running the place were friendly and food was good.

It was very good. The place is very closed to everything in town. There is a terrace very welcoming and a huge kitchen. Only little black spot is that the lady who was supposed to prepare the breakfast did not arrive before 8am (instead of 7.30am) which was too late for me to have breakfast.

Great old building, beautiful garden with multiple chill spots. Nice pool for a cool down. Next to that, we have enjoyed all days the 3 course meals from the house. (Maria is a great cook) local dishes, local fruits etc. All from the gardens or neighbors. Fantastic
Also gives you the option to explore nearby locations, waterfalls, cities etc
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Casa Capilla is a charming country hotel in a wonderful location beside the River Ulla and next to the ancient Ledesma Bridge. The rooms are immaculate, the public spaces decorated with original art from local artists. The staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. It was a real pleasure to stay there
