This is a family run rural hotel and it shows! The breakfast (albeit definately not cheap) was truly amazing using local organic produce and carefully prepared for each person, that's rare. I felt the hosts are doing this with passion. Also: comfy bed, spacious bathroom and good water pressure. Cleanliness at a high level. Quiet location, ideal for local tours and just a 15 minutes (uphill) walk from the nearest bus stop that connects you to Santa Cruz.
