For being a hostal as opposed to a hotel it was very good. I booked it by mistake try.to avoid hostals but was surprised how nice it turned out to be.

The hosts were absolutely lovely, the location is central to the town and the rooms are big and well appointed.
Hospedería El Convento is located in Estremera, just 30 miles from Madrid´s gate and 23 miles from Asuncion's Church.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at Hospederia El Convento. The host was prompt to check us in and explained everything to us in a way that we could understand in spite of the fact that she was speaking Spanish and our Spanish is very poor.. Our room was quite small but very clean with lots of hot water, comfortable beds and a little balcony. We were also able to store our bicycles safely overnight in the upstairs hall near our room.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. The hotel was in a good location for an overnight stay while travelling south east.
